Notice Jesus did not say, “what the Father says , [OK to use italics here for emphasis?] the Son also does.” Jesus learned from his father by observing, in ways and over a span of time that boggles our finite minds. Jesus was watching the father love people, bless people, as well as correct and chastise them. Look at all the lessons the nation of Israel learned over the years... Jesus saw them all. Perhaps you’ve heard a parent say, “do as I say, not as I do.” This is perhaps the most inaccurate information ever given by a parent.
